Account & data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all of its synced data from within the app — open Profile and choose to delete your account. Prefer email? Frequently asked

Do I need an account to use Gedam?

No. Gedam works fully offline on your device — no account needed to begin. An optional account, with Gedam+, syncs your devotional life across your own devices.

Is Gedam free?

Yes. The whole devotional core — the calendar, the offline Bible, the prayers, the saints, the ascent, and up to seven devotions — is free for everyone, forever. Gedam+ is an optional subscription that adds AI reflections, your full Dashboard, sync across your devices, and unlimited devotions. It never gates a prayer, a reading, a fast, or a saint.

Which traditions does Gedam support?

Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo, Coptic Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, Syriac Orthodox, and Malankara Orthodox — each with its own fasts, feasts, prayers, and saints.

Is my data private?

Yes. We show no ads, use no third-party trackers, and never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, open Profile and choose to delete your account — this permanently removes your account and all synced data. You can also email contact@gedam.app from your account address and we will delete it for you.

A note on content

Gedam's liturgical content is drawn from validated, cited sources and reviewed for accuracy. If you notice an error in a fast, feast, reading, or saint's commemoration for your tradition, please tell us — we take it seriously and will correct it.
